A Fresh Start for MLB The Show Mobile
The MLB The Show Mobile Season Rollover, occurring May 21st, marks the beginning of a new journey for all players, while recognizing and rewarding soft launch participants for their contributions.
Here’s what you can expect from the MLB The Show Mobile Season Rollover:
- The MLB The Show Mobile Season Rollover is intended to create a more competitive playing field for all players at Global Launch on May 26th.
- Your existing cards, unopened packs, and unused earned Stubs turn into loyalty Stubs.
- Unspent purchased Stubs stay in your account and are not converted.
- Season Rollovers will occur on a yearly basis to ensure the competitive field is maintained for each new iteration of MLB The Show Mobile.
Why the Season Rollover Is Happening
As MLB The Show Mobile gets ready for global launch, we have two major goals in mind with this Season Rollover.
First, we want to ensure that the Live Series cards and other MLB-driven content accurately reflects the stats, performances, and authenticity of their real-world counterparts.
The Season Rollover allows us to update in-game content to more closely match what you’ve seen from your favorite players in their most exciting plays, so far, in the 2026 MLB season.
Second, some players have had more time to build up collections and earn rewards than others.
The Season Rollover helps create a more balanced starting point for the new season, while still recognizing the progress players have already made.
That is where loyalty Stubs come in.
What Gets Converted
Your existing inventory of player cards, unopened packs, and earned Stubs will be converted into loyalty Stubs.
Those loyalty Stubs are your head start for the new season. You can spend them any way you like in MLB The Show Mobile.
Both the size and strength of your inventory matter; a stronger collection means more loyalty Stubs.
For example, 10 Diamond player cards will convert into more loyalty Stubs than 15 Gold player cards.
What Does Not Change
If you have purchased Stubs in your account and have not spent them, those Stubs will stay right where they are and will not be converted.
That means you keep your unspent purchased Stubs, while also getting loyalty Stubs from your soft-launch progress.
